Historic Martin’s Station
Historic Martin’s Station is an outdoor living history museum at Wilderness Road State Park in beautiful Lee County, Virginia. The Station features the most authentic reconstructed frontier fort in America. Virginia’s frontier comes alive here as costumed interpreters demonstrate life in Colonial America. Historic Martin’s Station is a special place where you can directly experience history first-hand. It is a place where you can reach out and touch history, and where history can touch you. A visit here can never be forgotten.
Our website allows you to begin your voyage of discovery from wherever you are. We continually refresh our offerings with special and signature events, permanent exhibitions, and temporary exhibits from such places as the Museum of Modern Art.
We are dedicated to enhancing the minds of our visitors at our ever-growing institution. Our doors have been open to guests since 2000. We are changing and evolving all the time in an effort to consistently offer new experiences to you and your family. Come and visit us — you’ll not soon forget it!
